A sprint is one week of work, including development, code review and quality assurance.

Statement of Work: Development Sprints

Description

Before starting on a project, we request you send over a brief of what you would like to have completed. This can be for single, or multiple tasks. From there, our team at SAU/CAL works together to build an approach, which outlines our proposed solution as well as an estimated timeline and cost.

Once we are in agreement on the cost and deliverables, our team at SAU/CAL breaks down your predefined estimate into bite size chunks called sprints.

Each sprint lasts a week in duration, from Monday to Friday.   Before each sprint begins, we’ll estimate what deliverables can be completed within that time, and strive to achieve that.  During the sprint you can continue to submit tweaks and new tasks which we will execute as quickly as possible.

A huge advantage to approaching a project this way, called agile development, is that we can change things on the fly, should we need to adjust anything for your project.  Some changes might add more, or less time.

Once each sprint is complete, we’ll have a review call so we can show you what was completed and discuss any changes you might need.  By having this short feedback loop, SAU/CAL can help minimize your risk in the long run and you get exactly what you want and need.

You would be in contact with our project manager, our project coordinator and our developers throughout the entire process.
